About "The End"
You have found it, this is it... the dot at the end of the line, the dot at the end of the last webpage.... final closing </HTML> tag... the last IP address on the internet.... the last domain name, the last website.... THE END ......
Or is it not? Will the internet even have an ending? Does it even have a beginning?
The end ... in time...
Will the Internet cease to exist at some point in time? We do know the beginning... when the internet was founded, or when it started to live and evolve... But as with everything we know .... everything has a beginning and an end... no ?
The end ... in space ....
The Internet is a complex network of copper and fiber cables, routers, switches, servers... all located in datacenters around the world in sizes from small to large. So .... this is the end, the last router, the last server, the last website, the last webpage(?) If this indeed was to be true .... Where would it be.... where in the world would you find the last physical server connected to the internet.... where would it all end.... Can it have an ending? Can it even have a beginning? Where would the entry point to the world wide internet be?
